About Us
Last updated:
Hemen Dönüştür (Turkish for "convert now") is a free online tool for converting documents quickly, with no account required. It is built and operated by Detartech Teknoloji, a software company based in Istanbul.
Who we are
Hemen Dönüştür is a product of Detartech, an Istanbul-based software company that builds web and mobile applications, backends and APIs, cloud infrastructure and AI integrations.
We built Hemen Dönüştür to solve a simple but frustrating everyday problem: converting a document to another format should not require installing software, creating an account or wondering where your file ends up.
Why Hemen Dönüştür exists
In Turkey, lawyers, law firms, court staff and citizens regularly receive documents in UDF format through UYAP, the national judicial information system. Opening these files, converting them to PDF or Word, or turning a Word document into UDF usually requires extra software.
Our goal is to offer fast, free and privacy-respecting conversions between common document formats, with a focus on UDF. Two principles guide us:
- Simplicity: Upload your file, choose a target format, download the result. No account, email or installation needed.
- Privacy: Your files are used only for the conversion and are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 minutes at the latest.
How it works
Conversion happens on our servers, not in your browser, so large or complex documents can be processed regardless of your device's performance.
- Supported source formats: PDF, DOCX, DOC, RTF, TXT, HTML, UDF and Markdown.
- You can upload files of up to 100 MB.
- Conversions rely on the open-source components LibreOffice, Chromium and Poppler.
- UDF files are handled by our own in-house UDF toolkit.
The process is fully automated; no member of our team views the contents of your files at any stage.
Our privacy promise
- Files are stored under a random, unguessable code, never under their original name.
- Uploaded files and conversion results are permanently deleted within 30 minutes at the latest.
- Your files are never used to train AI models, and are never shared or sold.
- We keep only anonymous, non-personal statistics (formats, file size, duration, success or failure).
