How to convert JPG to PDF
Add your JPG images
Drag the images onto the upload area or browse for them. Each image becomes one page, and you can add up to 50 of them.
Choose the page size and order
Pick A4, Letter or the image size, set the orientation and margin, and arrange the pages with the arrow buttons.
Create the PDF and download it
Press “Create PDF”. The PDF is built in your browser and never leaves your device; download it with one click.
What is preserved?
Kept
- The image quality: a normal JPG photo goes into the PDF without being recompressed
- The correct photo orientation (EXIF orientation is applied)
- The picture's proportions
Changed
- Each image becomes one page. On A4 and Letter it is scaled to fit the page without stretching and centered; in the image-size option the page matches the picture
- When the picture's shape differs from the page, empty space remains around it
Not carried over
- EXIF, location and camera data are not added to the PDF
- Selectable text: text inside a picture stays a picture, there is no text recognition
When to use it
Send scanned documents as one file
Photograph or scan the pages of a contract, a receipt or a form, add the pictures in order and send a single PDF instead of a dozen separate images.
Submit photos to a portal that wants PDF
Applications, insurance claims and school forms often accept only PDF. Turn your photos into one PDF in a few seconds and upload it.
Limitations to know
- Up to 50 images in one PDF and up to 50 MB per image.
- Very large pictures depend on your device memory and may fail to be added; reduce their size first with the resize tool.
- In the image-size option a page can be at most 200 inches (14,400 points) on a side; larger pictures are scaled down.
About the formats
What is JPG?
JPG (JPEG) is the most widely used photo format. It uses lossy compression: detail the eye notices least is discarded to make files small, and the quality setting trades size against detail. JPG does not support transparency and is not ideal for text or sharp-edged graphics, but nearly every device, app and website opens it.
What is PDF?
PDF is a document format that looks the same on every device and in print. A page can contain text, vector graphics and images, and a file can have many pages. Converting PDF pages to images turns each page into a flat picture you can place on a website or in a design, while converting images to PDF packs pictures into pages of one document.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put several JPG files into one PDF?
Yes. Add up to 50 images; each becomes one page, in the order shown in the list. Use the arrow buttons to move a page up or down before you create the PDF.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 suits most documents in Europe and Turkey, Letter suits the United States and Canada, and Image size makes each page exactly as big as its picture, which is ideal when nothing should be scaled or cropped.
Are my photos recompressed inside the PDF?
A normal JPG photo is placed into the PDF as it is, without another round of compression, so the quality stays the same. Photos with a rotation flag or an unusual color mode are re-encoded without loss first.
Can I rotate the pages?
The page orientation follows each picture automatically, or you can force portrait or landscape. Photos that your camera stored sideways are turned upright before they go into the PDF.
Is converting JPG to PDF free?
Yes, completely free. There is no account, subscription or watermark; just add your files and convert them.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is created in your browser and your images never leave your device, so the waiting time depends on the number and size of the images and on your device. Location and camera data are not added to the PDF.
