Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use Hemen Dönüştür, a service operated by Detartech Teknoloji ("Detartech", "we", "us"), how it is protected and when it is deleted. It is written to meet the requirements of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Summary
- No account needed; we do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Conversion happens on our servers, and your files are permanently deleted within 30 minutes at the latest.
- File contents are never viewed by people, never used for AI training, and never shared or sold.
- Analytics and marketing cookies run only with your consent.

Files you upload
When you upload a document for conversion, it is transferred to our servers and converted there. We protect your files as follows:
- Files are stored under a randomly generated unique code, never under their original name.
- The converted file can only be downloaded via that unguessable code; files cannot be listed or searched.
- Uploaded files and conversion results are permanently deleted within 30 minutes by an automatic cleanup job that runs every minute. After that, the download link returns "expired".
- The original file name is kept for at most 30 minutes in a separate temporary database (MongoDB with automatic expiry), solely to name your download, and is then deleted automatically.
- Processing is fully automated; no member of our team views file contents.
- Your files are never used to train AI models, and are never shared with third parties or sold.
Once deleted, files cannot be recovered. Please download your converted file before the link expires.
Anonymous usage statistics
To measure and improve service quality, we keep only the following anonymous information about each conversion:
- Source and target format
- File size
- Processing time
- Whether the conversion succeeded or failed
- Timestamp
These records do not contain the file name, file content, IP address or user agent and cannot be linked to you.
IP addresses and server logs
When you access the service, your IP address is processed transiently for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting. It may also appear in standard server and content delivery network (CDN) logs. Your IP address is not stored in our conversion database.
Traffic to our site is routed through Cloudflare, which provides content delivery, DDoS protection and encrypted connections (TLS).

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" button in the site footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Security
Connections to the site are encrypted with TLS. Files are stored under unguessable codes, deleted automatically after a short time, and rate limiting protects against abuse. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure; please keep this in mind when uploading highly sensitive documents.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and access it,
- Have inaccurate data corrected,
- Have your data erased,
- Restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests,
- Receive your data in a portable format (GDPR),
- Withdraw consent at any time,
- Learn which third parties your data has been transferred to (KVKK Art. 11),
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing (KVKK Art. 11),
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or the data protection authority in your EU/EEA country.

We respond within 30 days at the latest. Because there are no user accounts and files are deleted within 30 minutes, in most cases we will hold no persistent record that can be linked to you.
Children
Hemen Dönüştür is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or the law. The current version is always published on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly.
