  • Up to 50 MB per file
Page size

Standard A4 pages; each image is scaled to fit without stretching.

Orientation

Automatic turns each page to match its image.

Your file never leaves your device; images are processed in your browser. EXIF and location data are not added to the output. The PDF is created in your browser. Location and camera data are not added to it, and transparent areas of a PNG show the white page.

How to convert PNG to PDF

  1. Add your PNG images

Drag the images onto the upload area or browse for them. Each image becomes one page, and you can add up to 50 of them.

  2. Choose the page size and order

Pick A4, Letter or the image size, set the orientation and margin, and arrange the pages with the arrow buttons.

  3. Create the PDF and download it

Press “Create PDF”. The PDF is built in your browser and never leaves your device; download it with one click.

What is preserved?

Kept

  • The image quality: a PNG is stored in the PDF without loss
  • The correct photo orientation (EXIF orientation is applied)
  • The picture's proportions

Changed

  • Each image becomes one page. On A4 and Letter it is scaled to fit the page without stretching and centered; in the image-size option the page matches the picture
  • When the picture's shape differs from the page, empty space remains around it

Not carried over

  • EXIF, location and camera data are not added to the PDF
  • Transparency: transparent areas show the white page
  • Selectable text: text inside a picture stays a picture, there is no text recognition

When to use it

Turn screenshots into a document

Combine screenshots of a conversation, a booking or an error message into a single PDF that is easy to send or print.

Package graphics and drawings

Designs, diagrams and exports saved as PNG can be handed over as one tidy PDF, with a page for each image.

Limitations to know

  • Up to 50 images in one PDF and up to 50 MB per image.
  • Very large pictures depend on your device memory and may fail to be added; reduce their size first with the resize tool.
  • In the image-size option a page can be at most 200 inches (14,400 points) on a side; larger pictures are scaled down.

About the formats

What is PNG?

PNG stores pixels without loss and supports full transparency, which makes it a good fit for screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges or text. The price is size: photographs saved as PNG are usually much larger than the same picture as JPG or WebP. PNG does not store animations.

What is PDF?

PDF is a document format that looks the same on every device and in print. A page can contain text, vector graphics and images, and a file can have many pages. Converting PDF pages to images turns each page into a flat picture you can place on a website or in a design, while converting images to PDF packs pictures into pages of one document.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to transparent areas of a PNG?

A PDF page is white, so transparent areas simply show the white page. If you want a different color behind the image, place it on that color in an image editor before converting.

Will the PNG lose quality inside the PDF?

No. PNG images are stored in the PDF without loss, so text and sharp edges stay crisp when you zoom in or print.

Can I combine PNG and JPG files in one PDF?

Yes. You can mix formats in the same list; JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images all become pages of one PDF.

Why is my PDF larger than the PNG files together?

Lossless PNG data is stored in full, and a page can add a little overhead. If size matters, resize the images first or convert photographs to JPG before making the PDF.

Is converting PNG to PDF free?

Yes, completely free. There is no account, subscription or watermark; just add your files and convert them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is created in your browser and your images never leave your device, so the waiting time depends on the number and size of the images and on your device. Location and camera data are not added to the PDF.
