SVG to PDF Converter
To convert SVG to PDF, add your SVG files, order them with the arrows, choose A4, Letter or image size, orientation and margin, and press Create PDF. Each SVG is drawn as a picture in your browser and placed on its own page, up to 50 per PDF. The pages are not vector graphics, so they lose sharpness when zoomed far in. The SVG files never leave your device.
- Free, no sign-up
- Your file never leaves your device
- Up to 50 MB per file
Your file never leaves your device; images are processed in your browser. EXIF and location data are not added to the output. The PDF is created in your browser. Location and camera data are not added to it, and transparent areas of a PNG show the white page.
How to convert SVG to PDF
Add your SVG images
Drag the images onto the upload area or browse for them. Each image becomes one page, and you can add up to 50 of them.
Choose the page size and order
Pick A4, Letter or the image size, set the orientation and margin, and arrange the pages with the arrow buttons.
Create the PDF and download it
Press “Create PDF”. The PDF is built in your browser and never leaves your device; download it with one click.
What is preserved?
Kept
- The image quality: the picture is stored in the PDF without loss
- The correct photo orientation (EXIF orientation is applied)
- The picture's proportions
Changed
- Each image becomes one page. On A4 and Letter it is scaled to fit the page without stretching and centered; in the image-size option the page matches the picture
- When the picture's shape differs from the page, empty space remains around it
Not carried over
- EXIF, location and camera data are not added to the PDF
- Transparency: transparent areas show the white page
- The vector drawing: the SVG is drawn as pixels at its own size, so the page does not stay sharp when zoomed in
- Selectable text: text inside a picture stays a picture, there is no text recognition
When to use it
Share a set of diagrams as one file
Flowcharts and diagrams exported as separate SVGs can be collected in one PDF for a review, a meeting handout or an e-mail.
Print vector artwork without a design tool
If you do not have a vector editor, putting the SVGs on A4 or Letter pages in a PDF is a quick way to print them with consistent margins.
Limitations to know
- Up to 50 images in one PDF and up to 50 MB per image.
- Very large pictures depend on your device memory and may fail to be added; reduce their size first with the resize tool.
- In the image-size option a page can be at most 200 inches (14,400 points) on a side; larger pictures are scaled down.
About the formats
What is SVG?
SVG describes an image with shapes, paths and text in XML instead of pixels, so it stays sharp at any size. It is ideal for logos, icons and illustrations. When a program or website needs a pixel image, an SVG is rendered into a raster format such as PNG at a chosen size.
What is PDF?
PDF is a document format that looks the same on every device and in print. A page can contain text, vector graphics and images, and a file can have many pages. Converting PDF pages to images turns each page into a flat picture you can place on a website or in a design, while converting images to PDF packs pictures into pages of one document.
Frequently asked questions
Will my SVG stay a vector inside the PDF?
No. This page renders each SVG to pixels first and places that picture on the page, so text is not selectable and extreme zoom shows pixels. For a true vector PDF, export from a vector editor.
What happens to transparent parts of the SVG?
They show the white of the PDF page behind the drawing.
Why is an image in my SVG missing from the PDF?
Images and fonts that the SVG links to from outside are not loaded during rendering. Embed them in the SVG before you convert.
Is converting SVG to PDF free?
Yes, completely free. There is no account, subscription or watermark; just add your files and convert them.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is created in your browser and your images never leave your device, so the waiting time depends on the number and size of the images and on your device. Location and camera data are not added to the PDF.
